Dr Comfort Shaba completed her MBChB degree at the University of Cape Town in 2008 and her internship at Kalafong Hospital in 2010. She served the department of defense during her community service year. She subsequently worked as a medical officer at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in the department of neurology before commencing her neurology specialist training.
Dr. Shaba was awarded the Fellowship of the College of Neurologists of South Africa qualification in 2016. In 2018 she was awarded her Masters in Medicine degree for her research report on cryptococcal and tuberculous meningitis in HIV patients.
Our Services
Dr. Shaba has an interest in headache, epilepsy and movement disorders. Outside of medicine, she is a keen squash player and enjoys traveling, fine dining and spending time outdoors with her husband and two children.
